1. General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The sale of Products on the website www.theblondit.com (the "Products") is governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any changes to the Contract will become effective immediately upon publication on the Website and will govern all subsequent Orders.
1. Scope and Definitions
1.1 For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the following definitions shall apply:
- "Seller": THE BLONDIT SRL, with registered office at Largo Palizze no. 1, 67039 Sulmona (AQ), Italy, VAT no. 02206190668, Company Register no. AQ-217032, email info@theblondit.com, certified email theblonditsrl@pec.it. THE BLONDIT SRL, as identified above, is also the Owner of the website www.theblondit.com.
- "Consumer" or "Customer": any natural person acting on the Website www.theblondit.com for purposes outside of their commercial, entrepreneurial, or professional activity, if any, who is of legal age and has legal capacity.
- "Order": the Order sent by the Customer to the Seller for the purchase of Products, according to the methods set forth in these General Conditions of Sale.
- "Purchase Contract": any purchase contract concluded between the Seller and the Customer for the purchase of Products, according to the methods set forth in these Conditions of Sale.
- "Site or Website": www.theblondit.com
- "Consumer Code": Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and subsequent amendments.
- "Privacy Code": Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and subsequent amendments.
1.2 These General Conditions of Sale apply to all Orders for the purchase of Products placed by Consumers to the Seller via the Website. Before making a purchase, the Customer is required to carefully read these General Conditions of Sale, as using the Website to place an Order or purchase Products implies acceptance thereof. These General Conditions of Sale do not, however, regulate the provision of services or the sale of Products by parties other than the Seller that may be present on the Website via links, banners, or other hypertext links, for which THE BLONDit is not and cannot be held responsible in any way. These General Conditions of Sale do not apply to any Orders for the purchase of Products placed by non-Consumers to the Seller. If you are not a Consumer, we invite you to refrain from completing commercial transactions on the Website www.theblondit.com. The purchase of Products for resale purposes is prohibited.
2. Product Purchase Procedures and Contract Execution
2.1 By accessing the Site, the Consumer will be able to view the Seller's products. To purchase them, they can choose whether to register on the Site or proceed in "guest" mode, i.e. without registering. The Customer guarantees the Seller that all information provided is true, correct, and constantly updated, assuming full responsibility and holding the Seller harmless from any detrimental consequences.
2.2 After selecting the Product they wish to purchase, the Consumer must click the "Add to Cart" button. To complete the Order, the Consumer must complete the Order form available on the Website and send it to the Seller by clicking the "Submit Order" button, following the instructions on the Website. After electronically submitting an Order, the Customer will receive a specific email confirming receipt of the Order.
This email notifies the Customer that the Order has been received by the Seller and provides the unique Order identification code.
2.3 The Seller's acceptance of the Order will take place only when the Seller sends the Customer the "Order Confirmation", which generally coincides with the shipment of the Products and the related contract is considered finalized from that moment. Before that time, the Seller reserves the right to refuse an Order if it deems it appropriate. See also the provisions of the following articles.
2.4 The Consumer may cancel an Order at any time until THE BLONDit sends the Order Confirmation. Once the Seller has accepted the Order by sending the Consumer the Order Confirmation, the Order may no longer be modified or cancelled, unless otherwise provided for in these General Conditions of Sale or by law.
2.5 The Customer's Order proposals are considered irrevocable, pursuant to Article 1329 of the Italian Civil Code, for a period of 30 (thirty) days from their receipt by the Seller. Within the aforementioned 30 (thirty) days, the Seller will notify the Customer of any rejection of the Order proposal, specifying the reasons. Receipt of Order proposals from the Customer does not bind the Seller to acceptance: by way of example, the Seller may reject purchase requests (i) from countries not included among those displayed at the time of the Order summary, (ii) from individuals who do not qualify as final Consumers or who do not meet the requirements to implement the payment terms, (iii) due to incomplete data, or (iv) due to unavailability of the Products ordered. In such cases, the Order will not be processed and the Seller's Customer Service will inform the Consumer of the cancellation of the Order and the reasons thereof.
2.6 The Seller shall not be liable, under any circumstances, if an ordered Product is removed from the Site after the relevant Order has been submitted. It may happen that the Site mistakenly displays Products that are not currently available and/or that an Order exceeds the quantity available in stock. In such cases, the Supplier will notify the Customer via email if the Product is no longer available for order or the expected delivery time for the selected Product, asking whether or not to confirm the Order.
If an Order can no longer be processed, the Seller will promptly notify the Customer and refund the amount, if any, paid by the Customer in the meantime. The Seller reserves the right to modify the Product assortment on the Website from time to time without prior notice. Therefore, the display of a Product on the Seller's Site does not imply that it is available for online purchase. The Seller is therefore not liable if a Product is out of stock and no longer available for online purchase.
3. Products
3.1 The Products listed on the website www.theblondit.com are exclusively those bearing the THE BLONDit brand. The Seller does not sell Products of other brands or used, defective, or substandard products.
3.2 The essential characteristics of each item are shown in each Product description. The images and colors of the Products offered for sale on the Site may, however, differ from the actual colors due to the Internet browser or monitor used by the Consumer, or because, being hand-crafted and hand-set products, each one retains unique characteristics and may exhibit small variations due to the manual nature of the production process. Each THE BLONDit Product is completely nickel-free.
3.3 All THE BLONDit products are handcrafted, hand-set, and always rhodium-plated (white rhodium, black rhodium, or yellow rhodium, depending on the color combination). This process is expertly performed on each item. However, the rhodium plating may fade over time, due to physical wear and tear and contact with external agents (cosmetics, detergents, etc.). Contact with other metals could also cause scratches or partial removal of the rhodium plating. THE BLONDit is in no way responsible for the occurrence of the aforementioned circumstances.
3.4 Improper storage of silver can lead to oxidation: factors such as exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, sweat, pollution, and humid environments (e.g., the sea, swimming pool, etc.) dramatically accelerate this natural process. To prevent this, it is essential to store silver in dry, dark places, wrapped in soft cloths or suitable bags, away from plastic and aggressive substances.
3.5 The Products for sale on the Site are subject to change without notice, so the Consumer is advised to check availability before placing a purchase order.
3.6 THE Blondit branded Products are handcrafted, hand-set, and hand-set, with production times that vary depending on the type of Product.
4. Prices
4.1 Product prices on the Site are indicated in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs, if applicable, will be displayed during the checkout process and will be included in the Order Confirmation sent to the Customer following acceptance of the Order.
For Orders to be shipped to EU or non-EU countries, shipping costs vary depending on the destination country.
For shipments to EU or non-EU countries where duties, VAT, and other export taxes are applicable, THE BLONDit covers customs costs, any customs clearance issues, and/or other taxes through DELIVERY DUTY PAID (DDP). Therefore, THE BLONDit manages the entire process from departure to final delivery of the product, taking care of all tax formalities. This means that for purchases to be shipped to EU or non-EU countries, the final price of the purchased product already includes both VAT and other taxes of the recipient customer's country.
4.2 Any changes to Product prices will be effective from the date of publication of the new prices on the Site, without retroactive effect on Orders already accepted with the sending of an Order Confirmation.
4.3 Except in the case of a recognizable error pursuant to art. 1431 of the Italian Civil Code, the Seller reserves the right not to accept an Order due to an incorrect price published on the Site or indicated in the email sent to confirm receipt of the Order, i.e., before the Seller has accepted the Order.
5. Payment Methods
5.1 The Consumer may pay for the Products by credit card or PayPal. These payment methods are processed through platforms that guarantee maximum security, confidentiality, and accuracy of transactions. The Seller will collect the amount (accounting) upon submission of the Order.
5.2 The Seller does not directly manage any financial information relating to the payment method used by the Customer, nor does the Site process any financial information provided to complete the Order. Since the Seller does not retain such data, it will not be responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use by third parties of the Consumer's payment method during the payment process, unless this is attributable to its error or negligence.
5.3 The Seller reserves the right to cancel a transaction and the related Order if fraudulent use of the payment method used for the Order is reported. Furthermore, the Seller shall not be liable in the event of any unlawful use of a Payment Method by third parties which is not attributable to its error or negligence.
6. Warranty
6.1 In the event of alleged defects or lack of conformity of the Products sold by the Seller, the Customer must immediately contact Customer Service at the contact details indicated on the Website or exercise their right of withdrawal by returning the Products free of charge.
6.2 The legal guarantees set forth in Articles 129, 130, and 132 of the Consumer Code apply to the sale of the Products. The Customer has the right to have the Product restored to conformity free of charge by repair or replacement or, if this is not possible, to an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract. Alternatively, the Customer may opt for the free return of the Products.
The Customer forfeits these rights if they fail to report the lack of conformity to the Seller within 2 (two) months of discovering the defect. Action to assert defects not fraudulently concealed by the Seller expires, in any case, within 24 (twenty-four) months of delivery of the goods.
6.3 The Seller will evaluate the defects and non-conformities reported by the Consumer and will carry out quality controls to verify the actual non-conformity of the Product. If these controls reveal that the Product is free of defects, the Consumer will not be entitled to return the item and THE BLONDit will not be required to pay any costs. The warranty is void in the event of interventions carried out by third parties on the Product purchased from THE BLONDit.
7. Shipping and Deliveries
7.1 Products purchased on the Site are shipped from Italy via leading couriers.
The Seller undertakes to deliver Orders to Customers promptly and accurately, in accordance with the delivery times indicated on the Site during the purchase process and, in any case, within 30 (thirty) days from the date the Order Confirmation is sent to the Customer, which coincides with the time the Products are handed over to the courier for shipment.
7.2 In certain circumstances, such as, for example, company closures, delivery times may vary. The Seller cannot be held liable for delivery delays not attributable to its fault or negligence and therefore shall not be liable for delays due to force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, customs clearance procedures, and any other event related to the provision of courier services or any other circumstance beyond its control. See also the provisions of the following articles.
7.3 The Order Confirmation includes a tracking number that the Customer can use to monitor the shipment and delivery of the Products. The Customer is encouraged to do everything possible to facilitate delivery of the Order, either by making themselves available to receive it or by delegating this task to a third party.
7.4 Upon delivery, the Customer must verify the accuracy of the number of packages and the integrity of the external packaging and if the finds any anomalies in the delivery, he or she must sign the delivery document with reservations and contact Customer Service. Failure to do so will result in the Customer being unable to subsequently raise any dispute regarding the delivery.
7.5 The Seller will not be liable for failed deliveries due to errors in the shipping address. Only one address may be entered per Order. Orders will only be shipped to a valid postal address (as determined by THE BLONDit at its sole and absolute discretion). Shipments are not made to PO Boxes or Poste Resister addresses. THE BLONDit does not currently ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla.
7.6 In the event that the package is not delivered for reasons attributable to the Consumer (incorrect address, recipient consistently absent, incorrect telephone number, etc.), or if the Consumer refuses delivery, the outgoing and return shipping costs, even for free shipping, as well as the handling fees applied by the courier and any customs duties, will be deducted from the refund due to the Consumer.
7.7 The Product will remain the property of THE BLONDit until full payment has been made. The ordered Products will remain the responsibility of THE BLONDit until signed for and received by the Consumer. Once received, the Consumer accepts and assumes all risk relating to the Products (including loss, theft, or damage).
8. Return and Replacement Policy
8.1 Pursuant to Article 64 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without specifying a reason, by returning the Products. The right of withdrawal is exercised by following the procedure available on the RETURNS page of the website. The Seller, pursuant to Article 52 of the Consumer Code, informs the Customer of the following: - the right of withdrawal may be exercised by the Customer no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from receipt of the ordered Products. The Products must be delivered to the courier within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date on which the Customer communicated his or her decision to withdraw from the contract.
8.2 The right of withdrawal is excluded, pursuant to Article 59 of the Consumer Code, in the case of purchases of custom-made or personalized goods.
8.3 The right of withdrawal is deemed to have been exercised correctly by following the procedures and deadlines indicated in this article (and the references contained therein) and provided that the following conditions are also fully met:
1) the communication of the intention to return the goods must be complete and sent to the Seller at the email address info@theblondit.com within 14 calendar days of receiving the products; 2) the Products must not have been altered in their essential and qualitative characteristics, nor used, worn, washed or damaged; 3) the Products must be returned in their original packaging and with the purchase receipt; 4) the Products must be delivered to the carrier within 14 calendar days from the date of communication of the withdrawal.
The Customer undertakes to preserve and store the Products received and for which they intend to exercise the right of withdrawal with the utmost care and diligence, keeping them intact along with the original internal and external packaging.
8.4 For shipments to Italy, which are free, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer and amount to a flat rate of €10.00 (ten euros). In this case, THE BLONDit will deduct this flat rate from the final refund due to the Customer. For all other countries, the refunded amount will not include any shipping costs.
8.5 The Customer is free to choose to return the purchased products via their own courier and will bear the costs. The Seller will not accept deliveries with freight collect. Furthermore, the Customer will remain fully responsible for any loss or damage to the products during transport, with all risks borne entirely by the Customer.
8.6 Once the Seller has received the Products in accordance with the above—or when the Customer demonstrates that they have returned the goods—and has carried out the necessary checks, it will refund the Customer the price paid for the Products as quickly as possible. If the recipient of the Products indicated on the order form and the person who made the payment for their purchase are different people, the refund will be made to the person who made the payment.
In the event of returned Products that are damaged, damaged, or missing original accessories or equipment, the refund will be deducted from the amounts due for the reduced value of the Products; alternatively, the Customer may, at their own expense, obtain the Products in the condition in which they were returned to the Seller.
8.7 To request an exchange for a purchased product of a different size than the one you received, please follow the same instructions as for returns described in the previous sections.
A Product may only be exchanged if the size is available in stock and at the same price. It is not possible to exchange a Product for another of a lower value.
The replacement Product will be shipped to the shipping address indicated on the original Order within two to four (2-4) business days of receipt and inspection (with positive results) of the returned Product. The Consumer will receive an email from THE BLONDit with the new Order information and the tracking number for the new Product.
Only one return is possible for a size exchange. For returns for size exchanges made from Italy, given that initial shipping is free, the exchange fee is the customer's responsibility and amounts to a flat rate of €10.00 (ten euros). For all other countries, the costs of returns for size exchanges are the customer's responsibility. These costs vary depending on the country of origin and will be communicated to the customer in advance when the size exchange is requested.
8.8 The Seller reserves the right to refuse returns and/or exchanges shipped late or items that are not in the same condition in which they were received. The Seller will not refund the purchase price and shipping costs (if applicable), nor will they replace:
- Products that are used, tampered with, modified, incomplete (particularly if parts or accessories are missing), ruined, damaged, deteriorated, or dirty;
- Products returned without the THE BLONDit internal packaging;
- Products returned not complete with all their parts and/or accessories;
- Products intended to be exchanged or returned without the Consumer having a sales receipt;
- Products made according to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (see Article 8.2);
- Products that the Consumer intends to return or exchange that were shipped from a country other than the one to which the item was delivered.
8.9 If the terms for exercising the right of withdrawal have not been respected, the Customer will not be entitled to a refund and any return of the Products will be at the Customer's expense. In this case, the Customer may obtain, at his or her own expense, the Products in the condition in which they were returned to the Seller. Otherwise, the Seller may retain the Products, in addition to the sums already paid for their purchase.
9. Protection of Personal Data
9.1 In order to register, place an Order, and therefore conclude this contract, the Site requires the Consumer to enter certain personal data. The Consumer acknowledges that the personal data provided will be recorded and used by the Seller in accordance with and in compliance with Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and subsequent amendments, to process each purchase made through the Site and, subject to the Consumer's consent, for any additional activities as indicated in the specific Privacy Policy provided to the Consumer through the Site at the time of registration, which can be consulted on the Seller's Site. For any further information on how the Consumer's personal data is processed, please access the Privacy Policy section on the Site.
10. Applicable law and disputes.
10.1 These Conditions of Sale, Orders, Order Confirmations, and Purchase Agreements are governed by Italian law. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
10.2 In the event of disputes concerning or arising from these Conditions of Sale and/or Orders and/or Order Confirmations and/or Purchase Agreements or their performance, the competent court shall be the court of the place where the Customer is domiciled, or, at the Customer's option, the court of the place where the Seller is domiciled.
However, if the Seller does not conduct its business in the Member State where the Customer is domiciled, the Court of Sulmona (AQ) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
This is without prejudice to the possibility of seeking out-of-court dispute resolution, as provided for by the Consumer Code. For European Union countries, in the event of disputes arising from the General Conditions of Sale, the European Commission provides a platform for the alternative extra-judicial resolution of disputes, accessible on the website http://ec.europa.eu/odr
11. Communications or Complaints
All information regarding Orders, shipments and payments, returns and refunds, and account management can be found on the Website, in the Customer Service area, the content of which is an integral part of these Terms of Sale.
In any case, the Customer may receive assistance by contacting Customer Service at the email and telephone numbers indicated on the Website.
12. Amendments and Updates
THE BLONDit reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate the Consumer's access to the Website and/or its services if it reasonably believes that the Consumer is violating these General Terms of Sale or applicable laws, or for any other reason, without notice or liability on the part of the Seller. THE BLONDit also reserves the right to prevent use of the website www.theblondit.com in the event of repeated infringement of intellectual property rights.
In this Agreement, the singular includes the plural and vice versa, depending on the context.
The Seller's failure to exercise any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is held to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such unlawfulness, voidness, or unenforceability shall not in any way affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Agreement.
All trademarks, logos, or service marks appearing on the website, whether registered or not, as well as designs, models, illustrations, photographs, videos, text, code, audio tracks, and graphics are the exclusive property of THE BLONDit. THE BLONDit is a registered trademark with the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy. The contents of the Website are subject to copyright. All rights reserved. These Terms and Conditions are effective from December 10, 2025.
